The Caregiver Support Group (CSG) is open to family members of persons with mental illness to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for their loved ones with mental illness. The group provides an avenue for members to get-together to share experiences and to give and receive support for one another. Lucky Star Cookies For a Cause

Polar Puffs & Cakes Pte Ltd will be raising funds for WE CARE Community Services Limited from 20 Feb 2010 to 31 Mar 2010, in conjunction with its tie up with “ Happy Go Lucky” movie. Polar will be producing specially designed butter cookies named Lucky Star Cookies, sold at all its 32 retail outlets in Singapore. Each pack of cookies will be sold at $$5.50 and $2 will be donated to WE CARE for every pack of cookies sold.

The Bond Workshop : 1-hour workshop for pairs of grandchild and grandparent to learn more about each other through games and exercises.

The Women's Initiative for Ageing Successfully (WINGS) will launch a workbook aimed at fostering closer ties across three generations in families on 8 March 2010. The Bond Project has 3 parts: The Bond Workbook, The Bond Workshop and The Bond Exhibition. The Bond Exhibition, to be held in August 2010, will coincide with Singapore’s 45th National Day. It will showcase the completed workbooks of 45 participants whose entries will be picked by lucky draw.

On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is our pleasure to extend an invitation to the 1 st Asia Pacific Behavioural and Addiction Medicine Conference ( 1 st APBAM 2010 ). This conference will be held in Singapore.

The conference theme is “ The Art & Science of Behavioural Change”. This will give a unique look at how small changes to lifestyle can affect much greater changes in the outcomes and quality of life of individuals. This will not be a purely theoretical conference, but will challenge us by having leading clinicians and practitioners  in the field of addiction and behavoiur change share practical programmes for life change through workshops and plenary sessions.
