What is it About |
|
| NCSS is the national co-ordinating body of member Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) in Singapore. NCSS lends support to member VWOs in the following areas: |
|
- Provision of consultancy services in areas such as programme services in areas such as programme planning, and volunteer management
- Provision of assistance and support in application for premises, fund-raising permits, COE exemptions, telephone subsidy, use of NCSS facilities and NCSS Resource Centre.

Application Criteria and Eligibility |
|
- VWO's aims and objectives must be consistent with those of NCSS
- Must be registered under the Societies Act or incorporated
under the Companies Act or established by or under any written
law
- Carrying out business for a continuous period of at least two years.
|

Types of membership |
|
- Full - Any organisation whose primary function is to provide a bona fide direct social service which helps to meet existing needs of the community.
- Associate - Any organisation which has an active interest in social service but which does not provide a direct social service as its primary function.

| Membership is renewable on a yearly or three-yearly basis. |
