Why does PSSA only recognise contributions made to the social service sector, and not to the sports and arts as well?
The National Council of Social Service (NCSS) is the national coordinating body for the social service sector. Thus, the PSSA, organised by NCSS, aims to honour and recognise outstanding voluntary contributions made towards the social service sector only.

Contributions in the other sectors, such as the sports and arts, would be more appropriately recognised in other platforms. Visit here for details of the PSSA.

My organisation won the PSSA (corporate) in 2004. May we apply again this year?
Yes. Under the eligibility rules, PSSA winners would not be eligible for further awards for the next 5 years after their award. So, a PSSA 2004 winner will only be eligible from 2010. More PSSA eligibility rules are available.
