Community Chest Awards

Created in 1984, the Community Chest Awards recognise corporations, community organisations, foundations and groups that have passion and a great spirit of generosity who joined hands with the Community Chest to reach out and help the disadvantaged in our community yearly.

With these annual awards Community Chest seeks to focus attention on the compelling need in any thoughtful community to build a "many helping hands" approach to the social service sector. It is a call to each individual and organisation to share the responsibility for reaching out and helping those among us who are disadvantaged.

A number of annual awards have been created to publicly acclaim the support we receive from individuals and organisations:

SHARE Awards

To recognise the regular monthly contributions of individuals and organisations through the SHARE Monthly Contribution Programme.

Corporate Awards

To recognise the significant cash donations from organisations.

Special Events Awards

To recognise the fund-raising efforts and contributions from organisations.

The Great Idea Awards

To encourage novel fund-raising initiatives.

Pinnacle Awards

To recognise organisations for long-term and significant contributions to Community Chest.

Pinnacle Club

To honour Pinnacle Award recipients with an honorary membership.
