INSEAD Executive Education Scholarships

INSEAD in partnership with NCSS is offering scholarships to member Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) in the social service sector to participate in INSEAD’s Asian International Education Programme. The scholarships are given in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of INSEAD Asia Campus in Singapore. [Business Times, 11 Nov 2010. Click here for news article].

The INSEAD Executive Education Scholarships are dedicated to promoting leadership education in the social service sector and aims to groom outstanding leaders to serve the community.

Member VWOs in the social service sector can nominate suitable candidates from their agencies for the scholarship. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a two-week Asian International Executive Programme (AIEP) at INSEAD Asia Campus in Singapore.

About Asian International Executive Programme (AIEP)

The Asian International Executive Programme prepares executives for senior management challenges, helping make the transition from specialist to generalist a successful one.

The AIEP is one of INSEAD’s prestigious programme to prepare senior management for the challenges of leading and managing businesses. It provides participants with frameworks for understanding fundamentals such as strategy, people, finance and operations, and sharpening decision making skills.

Value of Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Senior managers with at least eight years of management experience who:

	Have an outstanding track record
	Are facing new challenges broadly associated with general management
	Have significant responsibility for strategic decision making

Conditions of Scholarship

Successful candidates will be required to serve ONE year minimum service period in the social service sector and may be required to share lessons learnt with other VWOs at suitable platforms.
