All donations to the Foundation qualify for tax-exemption (250%). During 2012, the foundation has given out direct financial assistance of more than $1.1 million dollars and has approved more than $1.3 million out of $1.8 million it has raised in 2012 for its patients. Total charitable expenses were 77% of the total expenses for that period. Fund raising expenses have been negligible. Our centre is supported by a senior counselling professional to provide the much needed emotional support to patients and their families to cope with anxiety, distress, loss, bereavement and grief. We have a number of programs and activities for our patients that include quarterly outings with our patients and caregivers.

TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA) is a service of TOUCH Community Services. TOUCH is a not-for-profit organisation officially registered in 1992 and a member of the National Council of Social Service.

TYA is committed to caring for children aged six to 12 years old from single-parent and low-income families. On Saturdays, children who lack family support and are struggling academically are given tuition at the 17 TYA clubs island-wide. TYA aims to build positive character traits and leadership qualities in the children who may otherwise be vulnerable to negative influences around them. Through games, competitive sports and recreational activities, TYA also helps these children learn to build rapport and interact harmoniously with their families and friends to help them strengthen parent-child and social relationships.

Started in 2011, Run & Raisin' is the annual charity event organised by TYA. It includes a charity run, along with a carnival where the net proceeds raised will benefit TYA clients and their families. It aims to raise funds to meet the needs of TYA children and families, increase public awareness of TYA's work in the community, as well as promote family bonding and a healthy lifestyle. The funds raised will go a long way in helping maintain year-round activities and weekly programmes with the children.

In conjunction with the run, a carnival will be held at the same location. It is aims to hype up the run while at the same time, adding another fundraising platform. The carnival will feature a wide array of food and game stalls suitable for all age groups and ideal for a time of family bonding. Stage programmes will also be held at intervals. The closing date for registration is on 31 May 2013.
