Training courses that have already commenced are not eligible for funding.

VCF provides co-funding for approved projects. The approved projects must not receive any other sources of Government funding.

Successful applicants are required to share the findings and learning from the training with MCYS, NCSS and other VWOs as deemed suitable.

Training courses must not include political or religious proselytisation.

All permanent staff or volunteers of NCSS member VWOs and MCYS-funded VWOs are eligible for the VCF Local Training Grant.

Volunteers are only eligible for Professional Skills Based Training and Governance and Management Training courses that are related to their volunteering scope at the VWOs.

Applicants who are Employment Pass / Work Permit Holders must have at least one year of remaining contract at the point of application.

An applicant can only attend two courses in the General Training category per year.

Only permanent staff (who are Singaporean or PR) of NCSS member VWOs and MCYS-funded VWOs are eligible for the VCF Overseas Training Grant.

Applicants must have been employed by the VWO for at least one year at the point of application.

Individuals and VWOs are eligible for the Overseas Training Grant once in every two years. For VWOs with multiple programmes, the cap is applicable to the individual programme within the VWO.

One applicant per programme, up to a maximum of two applicants per VWO, are eligible for support for each application.
