Eligibility Criteria for Tote Board Social Service Fund
| The applicant is registered with the Commissioner of Charities (COC), Registry of Societies (ROS) or Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

The programme is providing direct services, which are social service-related and contribute to the psychological and social well-being of the target clients (excludes health, direct financial aid, legal, sports, recreation and education programmes, but special schools may apply).

|
The applicant is willing to comply with the monitoring and reporting guidelines of the Fund and adhere to the minimum standards of service established for the programme.
|
|
The Fund should only be used to defray programme costs and not fund-raising costs.
|
|
The programme/building/fixed assets operated by the applicant should be used to provide social services to the target clients.
|
|
| The applicant should have general reserves of less than 2 years of the total operating expenditure/gross expenditure. General reserves is defined as the total reserves of the entire Voluntary Welfare Organisation minus building cost and net book value of buildings. |
