MOE Special Education Fund

NCSS was appointed by MOE to administer the MOE Special Education Fund since FY2005. MOE and NCSS co-fund special education for children with special needs. This co-funding provides special schools with the resources to help these children achieve a well-rounded education encompassing academic, independent living and pre-vocational skills.

The MOE Special Education Fund covers the recurrent operating expenditure of special schools as well as curriculum development to enhance the quality of special education in Singapore.

MOE's funding is not open for application by VWOs. The Ministry will approve funding for VWOs appointed to deliver the programme(s).
