Flag Day Application

NCSS member VWOs with charity status can raise funds through selling of flags on Flag Day.

All Saturdays and Wednesdays during school holidays are specially allocated for NCSS members for this purpose.

Allocation of Flag Day slots is done through an annual balloting exercise in September.

Eligibility Criteria

	Must be a NCSS member and registered charity
	Accumulated reserves must not exceed 5 times the total operating expenditure
	Must not be fully funded by the government
	Must not have any outstanding statements of accounts for past fund-raising permits
	Maintain average gross proceeds of at least S$50,000 (gross proceeds collected in a single day) over three Flag Days

Application for Flag Day 2012 Ballot

Applications have closed on 9 May 2011. Eligible applicants will be informed by end of August 2011 and successful applicants will be invited to attend the ballot to be conducted on 23 Sep 2011.
