Sponsorship for NITEC in Community Care and Social Services

The VCF provides sponsorship for NITEC in Community Care and Social Services at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). This two-year full-time course conducted by ITE equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide care and support to clients in nursing homes, community hospitals, community rehabilitation centres day care centres and senior activity centres. It will also provide students with the skills and knowledge to perform administrative tasks including planning, organising and implementing community-based activities and events.

The sponsorship covers the course fees, book allowance and training allowance.

Eligibility Criteria

	Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
	3 GCE ‘N’ level passes (Grade 1–5) or (Grade A–D) in English Language and 2 other subjects
	2 GCE ‘O’ level passes (Grade 1–8) in any subjects

Application Procedures

Interested applicants must apply for the NITEC in Community Care and Social Services prior to application for sponsorship. Upon being awarded the Sponsorship, the students are required to sign a Training Deed. The bond duration is two years upon completion of the course.
