Scholarships for the Social Service sector


To professionalise the social service sector, NCSS constantly seeks to recruit and retain talent, as well as train and upgrade skills of its staff and that of VWOs.

 

INSEAD Executive Education Scholarships

 

In conjunction with its 10th Anniversary of the Asia Campus in Singapore, INSEAD has partnered NCSS to offer scholarships to member VWOs in the social service sector to participate in the INSEAD's Asian International Education Programme.


Lien Foundation Scholarship for Social Service Leaders

The Lien Foundation has, since 2002, partnered NCSS to provide scholarships to those who wish to develop a career in the social services. The Foundation has committed $1.2 million over the next four years for both graduate and postgraduate studies in social work and therapy at local institutions.

Social Service Scholarship

The Social Service Scholarship supports degree and post graduate studies locally in the areas of social work and other social service related disciplines.

Social Work Training Scholarship

MCYS, together with NCSS, introduced this scholarship for the study of social work. The funding supports the undergraduates who have declared social work as their major subject at the National University of Singapore.

 

Social Work Associate Training Sponsorship

 

MCYS, together with NCSS, introduced training sponsorship for students in the Diploma in Social Sciences (Social Work) course to provide opportunity for young talents to join the social service sector as Social Work Associates and to provide professional services to people in need in the community.


Temasek Cares Study Awards


NCSS is partnering Temasek Cares on a Special Needs Building Capability Project. We are offering Study Awards under the project to help build capabilities of VWOs in the Social Service Sector. Apply today for a Temasek Cares Study Award to join the sector as a Therapist or Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) Teacher.
