TCTemasek Cares Study Awards

NCSS is partnering Temasek Cares on a Special Needs Building Capability Project. We are offering Study Awards under the project to help build capabilities of Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) in the Social Service Sector.

The social service sector provides services to promote the well-being of people and communities. It seeks to help individuals to be self-sufficient and to restore individuals, families or communities to function successfully in the society.

The 4-key social service causes in this sector are helping people with disabilities to lead independent lives, dignifying the lives of the elderly, keeping families together and nurturing children to succeed.

In the social service sector, trained professionals from various disciplines come together as a multi-disciplinary team to provide timely interventions to help clients manage life’s challenges more effectively and to improve their lives for the better.

Professionals in the social service sector can look forward to working in a variety of settings from centre-based to residential-based and even home-based programmes serving a broad spectrum of clients, including children, youth and families, seniors and persons with special needs.

Come and join the social service sector for a fulfilling and meaningful career which will never be short of enriching experiences and inspiring moments.

Apply today for a Temasek Cares Study Award to join the sector!
