JUDGING CRITERIA

All nominations will be acknowledged and only successful candidates will be notified. Winners of the President’s Social Service Award will be selected by a Selection Panel, comprising of representatives from the community, government and business.

 Judging is based on qualitative criteria as reflected in the nomination form. The main judging criteria include:
 Individual Informal Group Formal Group/ Non-profit or Public Sector Organisation Corporation
Contributions to the social services which span a range of actions taken to benefit the sector. These can include volunteering, participating in events, employee campaigns, sharing of resources such as knowledge, skills and expertise, contributing financial donations and donations-in-kind.
Significant impact of contributions and efforts
Innovativeness of contributions
Efforts extended in order to perform the voluntary service
Close working relationship with VWOs
Corporate and top management commitment to and support of community involvement    
Active community involvement from all levels of staff    
 The decision of the panel will be final. NCSS and supporting partners will not entertain any enquiries or enter into any correspondence with any party on decisions made by the panel.
