Research Gateway

NCSS builds research capability and facilitates research amongst VWOs through the provision of funding support and sharing of research expertise and knowledge. As part of NCSS's efforts to facilitate social service research, the Research Gateway aims to provide social service practitioners and administrators with relevant resources to apply evidence-based practice in the delivery of quality social services. The Gateway includes, abstracts of research studies, links to research websites and useful statistics etc. The Gateway also aims to pave the way for research ideas to be sown and be translated into research projects that will grow the body of knowledge in the sector, thereby building sector capability in the longer term.

YouthSCOPE is an annual compilation of abridged youth studies supported by the National Youth Council through the Youth Research Fund. Comprising youth research studies by local researchers from learning institutions and youth sector agencies, YouthSCOPE aims to promote a knowledge-sharing culture in the local youth sector and to inspire more issue-specific youth research.
